Our trip started at 5:30 by bus to BMW production in Dingolfing, where we saw the whole production process during the company tour. We got a really good overview in the complex and high technical workflows at BMW. With 18.500 employees at BMW Dingolfing, more than 1.200 daily produced cars of series 5, series 6 and series 7, more than 1.500 working industry robots and a total production line length of more than 3 kilometers it was really impressive. We saw the whole production process from car body production to the so called “Wedding”, where the motor, the chassis and the car body are fixed together, as far as the finished technically checked car.

Afterwards we drove by bus to BMW Landshut, where we focused our visit to casting, to give all our employees the chance to see the biggest ever produced Mg equipment by Rauch, which is producing and recycling Mg parts since the last 10 years according to highest quality standards. So meanings like ingot, sprue, skimming and so on could be experienced close at a safe distance.

All in all it was a successful trip, which was not only for the alliance of the company, as well as impressive and informative.
