The largest and most extensive delivery in company history has now left our plant

Now the time has finally come - the largest and most extensive delivery in company history has now left our plant last week.

A total of four trucks and two low-loaders and a weight of 70 tons were used for the transport. The first of a couple magnesium sheet casting equipment - MGB1800 -  is on its way to China. Consisting of two prewarming units, two high performance melting furnaces with recuperator technology, one dosing furnace, two siphons and an unique headbox by RAUCH for the high-precision delivery of molten magnesium to a Twin Roll Caster: these are the requirements to produce finally ultra-light and millimeter thin magnesium sheet.

Due to the ongoing global corona pandemic and the resulting short-time working in our plant, there were some delays but finally the delivery date has been met as agreed.

For a project of this extent of course besides Know-How of high temperature technology and process technology a good preparation is a must for planning, organization, production and loading of the equipment.

Thanks Team RAUCH!
