Since 1962 the IMA (International Magnesium Association) honours annually the most innovative company in four categories in this special field.

This year the desired trophy in the category „PROCESS” went to Gmunden at Lake Traunsee in Austria.

Centered in the success is our energy-efficient Big-Boy for melt rates up to 1500 kg/hour (equals to 3306,934 lbs/hour) and shot-weights up to 30 kg/shot (equals to 66.13868 lbs/shot).

The jury was convinced by:

• high energy efficiency
• reduction of CO2 emissions
• maximised operator friendly handling
• high melt rates
• flexible dosing weights
• impressive dosing accuracy
• long lasting life-time

Congratulations to the whole team and their special engagement in all of our developments. Together we brought the trophy back home to Gmunden as we did in 2006 and 2010!
