RAUCH Furnace Technology is participating in the 83rd Annual World Magnesium Conference in Montréal, Canada.

Our CEO Peter Rauch and our safety expert are on site to exchange insights with international industry partners on current developments, technologies, and safety topics within the magnesium industry.

As a sponsor of the Post Conference Tour, we are proud to support the international magnesium community beyond the conference itself and contribute to valuable technical exchange across the industry.

Winner of the City of Gmunden Climate Protection Award 2026


We are delighted to receive a special recognition:
RAUCH Furnace Technology has been awarded the City of Gmunden Climate Protection Award 2026 in the Business Category.

The award recognizes our project aimed at the gradual reduction of CO₂ emissions at our Gmunden site, which we have been consistently advancing over the past several years.

Key measures implemented as part of this initiative include:

  • Expansion of our photovoltaic systems
  • EV charging infrastructure at our facility
  • Planning of further projects, including PV carports and energy storage solutions

Our goal is to make our company site more energy-efficient, sustainable, and independent in the long term.

Special thanks go to Sebastian Reinisch, our Head of HSEQ, who has supported this project with great dedication and has played a key role in implementing these measures.

We would also like to thank the City of Gmunden for this award and for recognizing our commitment to sustainable energy solutions at our site.
